How We Make Money

Springs Coast Septic is free for homeowners. We are paid a referral fee by the professional we match you with. This fee never increases the price you pay for your project.

Here is the model in full. Homeowners in Citrus and Hernando counties use this site to research septic projects and request a contractor match. When you submit a request, we share it with an independent licensed local septic contractor who can take the job. If that referral becomes work, the contractor pays us a referral fee.

The fee is a marketing cost the contractor pays instead of buying ads. It is not added to your invoice, and the contractor prices your project the same way they price work that comes from any other source: by scope, site conditions, and materials, in a written itemized estimate you approve before work starts.

We are not a contractor, we take no commission percentage of your project, and we have no role in setting the price you pay. You are always free to collect other bids, and we think you should: comparing at least two written estimates is standard advice for any project the size of a drainfield replacement or an enhanced nitrogen-reducing upgrade.
